Give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day, teach a man to fish and he will be fed for a lifetime…
This proverb although old, has a lot of relevance to today and the education our kids receive – both from their parents and from the world around them.
Kiddsbay, in particular, believes strongly in this proverb.
In what sense do we mean this?
Well, in the way that kids, rather than having things handed to them on a golden platter (teaching them little), should instead be taught the importance of hard work and be encouraged to adopt fundamental life skills such as financial literacy and business acumen.
Why is this important?
If kids are encouraged to pick up essential skills, they can then fend for themselves and make intelligent decisions in their present and future. What’s more, is the becoming of capable members of society, teaching generations to come the same skills they themselves were passed on.
You, the parent, can start the cycle of excellence today – helping your kids sign up with Kiddsbay and getting them started on their business-building journey.
Don’t miss out!
